2018 ITTF TEAM WORLD CUP COMMENCED IN LONDON

USPA NEWS - The ITTF Team World Cup commenced in London today on February 22nd, 2018 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park´s Copper Box Arena. England the inventor of the game has not hosted yet an ITTF World Cup Event until now.
“I am delighted that London once again has the chance to showcase this exciting, fast-paced sport,“ “” said in his welcoming speech the Mayor of London Said Khan and “It is a wonderful opportunity for everyone associated with English table tennis to host this prestigious event,“ added Sandra Deaton the Chairman of table Tennis England.
The USA Teams, as Men as Women, earned rights to participate and compete in this ITTF one of the top Events of the year among 12 Men´s and 12 Women´s best Table Tennis Teams of the World. The Women´s Team there comprised Lily Zhang, Yue Wu, and Amy Wang; the Men´s Team there formed Kanak Jha, Adar Alguetti, and Yijun Feng. The Coach for both Teams on the 2018 ITTF World Cup “” Stefan Feth.
The Team World Cup 2018 in London is played with the new Olympic test playing system. The playing order is as follows:
BC vs YZ (Doubles); A vs X; C vs Z; A vs Y; B vs X
The last ITTF Team World Cup was conducted in 2015 in Dubai, UAE, and the winners of the Men's Championship were the Team of China with the Team Austria as the Runners-Up and of the Women's Championship -- Team China with the Runners-Up -- Team DPR Korea.
